My favorite Mario character, in his first adventure.

User Rating: 7.2 | Luigi Mansion GC
Luigi's my favorite mario character, so needless to say i was pretty excited about this game when i bought it. However this game has a huge cast of shortcoming's and disappointment. It does however, provide a short fun experience with some interesting concept's never seen before in the mario world.

Its not very challenging and the replay value is weak, but it is a decent title. The boss fight's are for the most part weak, its also very predictable and the range of move's you can use is extremely limited.

The ghost catching system is fun for a little while, but it gets boring quickly and soon becomes more of a duty than a pleasure.

Gameplay - 7
Decent gameplay, not great but decent. The basis's is you catch ghost's, shoot element's out, as well as various object's and item's while trying to find your brother. Without the traditional platforming nintendo excels so well in.

Graphics - 7
Some of the cutscene's look really nice, and the character model's are for the most part pretty good. However, the graphic's all together are fairly shallow and far from awe inspiring.

Sound - 10
The best part of the game was the sound, it had great sound effect's, Luigi's muttering's and whispering's i found to be very funny.

Overall - 7.2
You'll end the game feeling disappointed and probably never put it back in. While it does last though, its worth the while and has its moment's of shine.
