Very overrated, IMO. A total Tetris rip not worthy of my time.

Most of you will probably disagree with me, but I just think that Lumines is extremely overrated. I've given this game quite a few more than fair chances to wow me, even keep me playing for more than 10 minutes, but it just couldn't. The gameplay is simply not fun. It's got nothing on Tetris (the game whose concept was stolen for Lumines), and its music isn't nearly as cool, either.

You'll see these many other reviews that praise this game, but keep in mind that you might wind up like those of us in the minority who get no entertainment whatsoever from this game. So I urge you to try it out however you can, through renting, borrowing, stealing, whatever, before you spend a good deal of money on a game you could wind up sick of after just a few minutes.
