Lumines combines style and substance to create the PSP's best game to date.

When you first pop Lumines into your PSP and get playing, you'll notice its many similarities with the ever-famous Tetris. However, once you start playing, you'll realize how much different, and possibly better, Lumines is.

One of the first things you'll notice is its modern style. Different skins will change as you play, and create quite an atmosphere. This is complemented with a great and unique soundtrack.

And the gameplay is quite addictive too. Hours will pass like minutes, as Lumines draws you in. Unlike Tetris, Lumines will stay at the same pace for hours, allowing you to play for a long time, if you're good enough that is. It will take quite a lot of practice and skill to keep the blocks from reaching the top of the screen, resulting in a game over.

When all is said and done, Lumines is certainly the best puzzle game in a long time, and a AAA title for the PSP.
