An awesome game that even those who play vintage MMORPGs loke WoW and Guild Wars would applaud. It's good for all ages.
I was expecting to play for one or two days and quit but now I realized that it's the most fun Free-MMORPG that there is. Like Runescape they offer more services to those who pay to play but unlike Runescape you don't have to pay to get the full experiance. All paying does is get you a few more choices for looks and more bank space (which is useful, but you can just as easily sell unneeded items.) Basically that means that you don't NEED to pay, although I admit that they deserve it.
And unlike WoW and Guild Wars, and I admit that these games are also really good, maybe even better, this game isn't very expensive. If you don't feel like paying and still getting a good, and in some cases better, game then play Mabinogi.
Luckily, in this game they don't make you have to walk around a gigantic community to move, you can pass right through them and it actually has a very good storyline to follow. The map isn't super large but if you get way away then where you should be then it still shouldn't take that long to get back. The use of Moon gates I have to applaud. The Admins actually care about the players and the community overall is really NICE... actually NICE! If you play other games you might realize that if you ask someone something they call you a noob and then start insulting you. This game has a nice community and I am happy that Tiff offered this to me. It's not hard to get a hang of the game and is fun once you get into it. The amount of dungeons is great... and they are always changing. There are announcements at the top of the screen showing that atleast a few admins show up at a time and that you can know what to do. For example at nightime (in the game, not nessassarly realife time) the Moon Gates activate and the Admins "announce" that if you enter one which place you will be warped to. It may all be pre-recorded but it shows that we are never all on our own. Teaming up with friends is a great idea and the fact that the map shows you the quests and what to do next is very fun. I'm stopping myself from playing it until my friends get online to start our next adventure.
Overall it is a very good game and you might want to try it if you are new to MMORPGs and even if your addicted to them.
