I replayed it now (I played it years ago) and I really enjoyed it. you are Mad Max, a loner in a post-apocalyptical world ruled by weirdo gangs and the lack of water. The desert surrounds you and you must stay alive with any means necessary. Your car is stolen by Scrotus' gang and dismantled for scrap. You are left for dead. But you must get revenge. In order to do that you have to find allies and help them throughout the story. You have lots of regions to explore; you have lots of camps to dismantle; you can find scrap (game's currency). Scrap can help you upgrade Max and Max's car. There are lots of quests, but after a while dismantling camps for scrap can become tedious. You have to lower Scrotus' influence in each region to gain new abilities. Overall, this is an open-world game with a revenge theme in it.
