You can't blame EA for buying the rights to the NFL franchise. You CAN blame the NFL for selling it to only one publisher. This is a sad time for people that love football and football video games. My deepest fears have come true; EA resting on its laurels and releasing last years game with some code patched on top like they did before 2k came along. I can only wonder at the awesome game the Sega guys would have created this year, I'm still playing 2k5 a year later and it was only $20!! Madden will still sell a bazillion copies and I guess that is all they care about. Somebody wise once said "If money is all they care about, then that's what they'll receive" I guess there is still hope for the xbox360 version of the game but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Lets all bow our heads and have a moment of silence for the death of good football games in the next gen era........
