First off if you played last years game you should feel pretty comfortable with 06 until it comes to passing. The first pass i did in the game was a pick against my friend but i soon picked it my self for a touchdown. So what im saying is that it will take you a couple games to get use to the cone. The truck stick is another offence a weapon add to this years game, just flick the right analog stick and wham there goes the defender but be careful fumbles will increase so they say. And if your wondering what would win truck stick or hit stick, I have noticed that if you use truck stick and the d-fence uses hit stick truck stick will win. That's all EA add this year oh i almost for got something, superstar mode. Its a franchise mode except you only manage one player (probaley your self) its a great idea gone bad though, Im not saying it horrible im just saying it could of been a whole lot better. You have a cell phone, computer, calender, and mirror. The cell phone gives you info on whats happening around the league and give advice to you, the computer track stats, depth charts of your team, and player ratings, the calender tells you when events are happening, and the mirror is where you can edit how you look but your stuck with the face and skin colour you got. Its really cool at the beginning, but it gets boring realy quick. Game play wise it look like madden, plays like madden and does ever thing else like madden. The game has a nice sound track and if you go to audio there are some songs turned off. There are some changes on defence this year but skim through the instruction book and you learn them in a snap. This game is still a buyer for people that like football but if you disliked 05 chance are you will have the same feeling about this one.
