Instead of lousy 2 or 3 word reviews, I'm going to tell it how it really is.

Madden 06 wasn't what I thought was a great football game, actually I didn't think it was even a very good game. First of all, the graphics during the game were something I would probably say was good out of a Game Boy Advance game, not Sony's new handheld that could display higher definition images than most TV's. When I first played it, when ever I was running down the field Shaun Alexander or whoever I had with the ball, I noticed they were leaning to the side, so after the game, I go look through the options, and it got me thinking; "Why would you want to be strafing when there wasn't anyone behind you for like 15 yards?"
Another problem I had with the gameplay was the commentary, it sounded kind of generic, like a fill in the blanks kind of commentary.
In the menus I had 2 problems; the first being the music, at least half of the time it was playing the wrong song; the EA Sports thing would appear in the corner and say the next song was Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold, but Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy would play. The second problem was in the main menu, since I had my favorite team set as the Seahawks, sometimes the logo in the background would change from the Seahawks to the Steelers, but all the pictures would still be Seahawks pictures. It pretty much looked like Matt Hasselbeck standing in front of a Steelers logo. Probably the best thing about the game was the mini camp levels, because unlike the career mode games, there was actually music playing. The second good thing about it was that when the songs started and the EA Sports thing came up with the info on the upcoming song, it was actually right. So in this game, there were a lot of bad points, and some nice things.
