Suprisingly good psp version. Enjoyable and fluid gameplay.

You don't usually get full versions of ps2 games on psp. Most of the time there are compromises somewhere. But Madden 08 is a full blown NFL game, and is a complete and fluid gaming experience.

I've felt with NFL games in the past, that they were too slow and jerky. Even the NFL street games. Madden 08 is fast and furious gameplay, that makes the game feel more like the Superbowl, and less like playing football at the local park.

One thing I love about the game is that it features the Superbowl theme tune! I've always thought that music set the tone nicely. Its epic and exciting, just like the Superbowl.

The graphics are smooth, the frame rate is consistently great, and all the NFL licences are in there (thanks to EA games exclusive NFL deal). Also featured are some NFL europe teams. Which is an interesting insight into how these teams are developing.

All your usual game modes are here, for example theres the exhibiton mode and franchise mode.

If you like american football, and you have a psp, this is a must have game.

The controls work fine, and are nicely responsive.
