Madden 10 is Solid not great or bad, just solid. Game-play is solid. The slowed pace is nice if you don't like it use sliders. It definitely takes some getting use to though.The Halftime and Post-game shows have potential but they did not go in-depth enough. The pregame is a 2K rip-off but that's not a bad thing. The graphics are really nice even without a HDTV. If you pick the game up and try to play on All-Madden without practice you will get a beat-down. Knock it down to Pro and you will probably hand one out. So, the difficulty is just right. It's a solid effort EA.
My only issue is that you can not play adequate defense on the higher levels or against a human. The game simply has no type of defensive focus at all, being that defense is 1/3 of the game, this makes the game extremely overrated for those that want to call it game of the year. It is a very incomplete offering.The online leagues and franchises are nice for those that love to play online. This is a solid game to build on and go forward. Finally, I am one that would rather see competition from 2K or some other producer but this is not a bad game to be stuck with. Solid.
