The game is good, and gameplay is improved, but this was missing a lot.

I was never one to buy sports games really, until recently when last year I bought Madden 12 and was so excited for Madden 13. Madden 12 kept me playing, and I adored the franchise mode to it and Ultimate Team. I got Madden 13, instantly playing a game and absolutely loved the gameplay feel to it, felt like a I was watching a game. I then was excited to play Ultimate Team, but wait. I realized I had to now buy packs of cards with no longer coins, but with actual money. That was a turn off right away, and I never went back to that mode to waste money on it. Lastly, I went to check out Franchise/Superstar mode and started as a coach and enjoyed it, but it was missing some of the things Madden 12 had and eventually became dull. So I switched over to a superstar, and used John Elway. I wish there was a draft option, instead of being able to pick your team but overall I randomly selected the Texans and played 3 seasons fully. It was fun, but I needed a mix and switched teams and quickly got bored. So after switching through many created guys at each position and many current guys and different positions the gameplay was becoming repetitive. Overall, I wish the game went for less than it was, because $60 was a bit too much for it. Worth playing as a party game, but playing by yourself may become repetitive.
