Addictive! Best Madden ever, but still missing something.
One thing (graphics wise) that's changed are the physics. Their amazing, yet sloppy in some ways. For example, when running the ball with a running back up the middle, it looks realistic as he bounces of his offensive lineman and potential tacklers! But sometimes, the offensive lineman can be your undoing, blocking the way and if you hit them hard and fast enough, your own lineman can stop your running back in his tracks. But breaking tackles looks unbelievably realistic!
Passing is almost the same, but you really have to look at the defense to see who's blitzing and adjust your lineman accordingly. Otherwise, you'll keep taking sacks.
Playing defense took me some getting used to, but it's different with every player. For example, if you play the type of defense who likes to adjust a lot after lining up, it takes awhile to get used to it.
The only major complaint I have is in My Player mode. If you play QB, you can make as many adjustments to your offense as you like after lining up. But you CANNOT (for some odd reason) move a man in motion, which I find utterly depressing sometimes!
