I have to say, for a game that was made for the PS2 and was one of the first Madden to hit the PS2, I have to say that is an excellent game to play. Normally I am not a Madden fan, but after playing the game and testing out the Create A Team and Creat A Play, I was starting to get really hooked into the game itself.

GRAPHICS

Fantastic, animations & characters were very smooth and each player acted their own way. The older Madden games, they all sorta flowed together and stayed together, this one they all seem to give the impression that each player has their own personality as well as acted on their own. It felt like I was watching a real game and was controlling a real game. NFL Blitz has nothing on this game and judging that is 2003, I would love to see the future of Madden games as they become more impressive. I wasl also glad they had classic teams and even create your own team based on the 100's of logo's they have.

CONTROL
=========
This is my main pet peeve, there are so many controls to remember that I stil have a hard time remembering what does what. PLus, they change depending on what side you are on (Offense or Defense) Some of the buttons are pretty simple to remember, like when you go for a punt or kick off. But things like what you do when you want to tell your team to spread out or when you hike the ball, then the commands for when you catch the ball. I guess if nothing else, just take notes and keep your notes close for inspection while playing.

OVERALL
========
This is a fun filled sports game that will keep you coming back for more and more with all the options it has. PLus, don't forget the secret stuff you have to collect. Have fun with this one, and GREAT fun if you have the Multi-Tap.
