Madden 2004 is the best of the football games.

Unlike the 2006 version Madden NFL 2004 isn't a struggle, it's just fun! When I first picked it up it took approx 2 hours to get the hang of it. And while I've gotten a couple more, ESPN 2K5 and the next 2 Madden games Madden NFL 2004 is my favourite football game thus far. The graphics are excellent, the gameplay is solid. Not simplistic and not too complicated, but complex enough too run both offence, defence, special teams and the quarterbacks without being too complicated to comprehend. Their are enough game plans with enough coaches so any one can surely find one they're comfortable with. Just takes looking around a little, and that is half the fun.
p.s.
I've noticed an Arena league game coming out and my only question is why? I'd buy a CFL game in two seconds, but you couldn't pay to take Arena League.
