This games gives you more extras than the real game.

Madden NFL 05 game play is great the only thing I find troubling is bad ref calls and the announcers are very annoying. They keep saying the same thing over and over again. The other thing this game has simple controls. The newer Maddens have much complicated controls. This game also has easy game play, you almost always win against the computer unless you stink. I still wouldn't recommend this game go for the newer ones. The only thing different about this game is it has build your whatever. There is allot more this you can do outside of games. Overall it is not the greatest football game!
