Madden, as an overall, has been a majestic game for years, and hopefully moreso as years to come. There's only one question to be answered here, how does EA sports remain to strive in making their already amazing game better every year? While madden has looked practically the same since it first came out for the xbox, little graphical changes have occured. The feel of the game changes in a small amount every year, but the main thing ea sports includes in it's franchise, is the expanding of options off the field, such as owner mode. With all these changes, madden still seems very similar to the past of madden. While it is a great game, you might look at ESPN 2k5 instead. Not saying madden is a bad choice, it just really depends on what you look for in a game. The gameplay is rock solid, but can seem a little boring at times. Graphics, while don't really compare to ESPN still look very well in these days of the next gen. systems. Sound is rock solid. Overall madden 2005 is a great game to own and play, but you might want to rent it first along with ESPN and pick your choice.
