Madrism is an unusual puzzle game with a simple aesthetic and format, but lack of tutorial means you'll be really lost

Madrism, an indie-game by developer Techarts, is a decent enough puzzle game, but the lack of tutorial, english instructions, or any other guidance means that you'll be totally lost for a while.

Think of Madrism as initially like Tetris: objects fall from the sky which you must place appropriately into fitted areas. In Madrism, however, these falling objects are architectual room plans, if that makes any sense, as well as windows and doors which you must place appropriately in the rooms which you have placed. That pretty much sums up this game.

Now with lack of tutorial or english instructions, how levels and rooms clear is a total mystery, even after quite a while of playtime. I'm therefore also clueless about points totals etc. What I like about the game is the aesthetic actually - i like the architectual plan design - it's interesting, different, appealing, and makes a somewhat boring puzzle game worth investigating.

However, the lack of any guidance means that your time with Madrism will be more sandbox than its meant to be - take that as you will... you may infact enjoy not knowing what to do and just try to design some interesting homes. If so, kudos.

Bottom line: Madrism has a nice concept, but it'll likely leave you clueless and because of that, more bored than you ought to be...
