Mafia II does not disappoint. Its a beautiful game for those that pay attention to the little things.

User Rating: 9.5 | Mafia II PC
This game is excellent. The graphics, the details, the clothing, the cars, the action (probably the best), the music, the atmosphere, the game mechanisms (lock-picking, instore robberies), the dialoague and cutscenes with true, honest accents, and the characters are all very beautifully done and polished in this game.

This isn't an perfect game. The driving takes a learning curve. The cops are on you like flies on sh*t. There isn't much to do in the open world; there isn't any side missions or racing, playing pool, etc. The story and the game is relatively short. You will need a decent computer to run this game and play it to the full extent.

The action is probably the best in any sandbox type game. Just Cause 2 has its grappling hook. GTA has its.. strange yet simple point, aim, and click and now Mafia II has the best shoot/cover implementation of all those games yet. The hand-to-hand combat is also very realistic.

Missions vary, so there isn't much repetitiveness.

Everything is very realistic, you are put into the world of New York in the 1940s and 1950s. The music and composed musical score is fantastic as well. The characters' persona and dialogue accurately reflect 1940s and 1950s.

There are interesting features, such as robbing guns at a gun store (clothes too), changing your license plates, getting a car wash, or your shoes shined.

This game also has DLCs such as more clothes and car. A new DLC is going to be out with new missions as a different character.

This game is mostly aimed at Nvidia owners, sorry ATI owners, but the physics are very impressive at the expense of framerate. As I stated before you will need a decent computer to run this game.

All in All this is an easy nomination for the Best PC game for this year.
