Good at best.
i can't believe that i'm writing this --- mafia 2 is good and that's it
the empire bay is good, especially the snow at the early period
the cars are better compared to mafia 1..however there is too much driving...to the point that it is a torture..
and the story is meh...it is plain boring when it compared to mafia 1.
the jail thing is a joke. it is totally unnecessary. i think its only function is to justify the season change.
and there are missions that are not important or not really related to the game main plot...
the money in mafia 2... is nothing. it only used when buying clothes ( when u are being chasing by a bunch of irritating cops ) and repairing the vehicles.
anyway, is it just me or the polices will come to you every single time u want to steal a car? i always being caught in such cases - it is super, super annoying...pain in the ass. the whole police thing is a joke. there are everywhere...and if ur car touched another car --- that's it. another fine. another police-villain chase.
and there are many players out there said the mafia 2 sandbox sucks, but i think that mafia 2 isn't exactly a gta-clone..it is primarily the story. that's its selling point
the ending is .... a cliffhanger and it is not twisted really (mafia 1 is better in twisting the storyline)...i was expecting some gunshots in the car and the car stops...and it didn't happen.
all in all the mafia 2 is still can be considered a good game but clearly it has disappointed me, or maybe i have expected too much.
