This is my first shot at playing Mafia series and I began with Mafia II. The storyline was pretty decent a little far-fetched, but immersing at times. The cut scenes were very good and graphics were borderline: The characters in the prison all looked the same in their particular race.
I played it twice so far and one part of the game made my scratch my head. It's in the beginning when Vito's sister needs $2000 to pay off their fathers debt. I crushed enough cars to make over $4000 and I still had to wait till I did the job where you end up taking Henry to El Deco or whatever his name is for medical help. WHats up with that if I aleady had the money to pay it off. All in all it was a direct bite off of GTA in a lot of ways, but that made it entertaining.
I would have gave it a 8.7, I liked the fight mechanics, the cover system was OK , sometimes he covered himself against a wall in the open, if you weren't faced properly.

Where do you get the hookers...LMAO..?
