GTA back in the day.

Mafia is like playing a Grand Theft Auto that takes place in the 1930's.
But unlike many of the other GTA wanna-bes, Mafia is surprisingly GOOD.
Granted the graphics are not as good as the PC version, but it is still pretty decent for the PS2.
Probably the reason it has gotten a low rating is because it is a port from the PC version.
The biggest problem I have with this game is that the Vehicles are kind of slow... (But that's to be excepted because of the realism, it would not make sense if these cars could do 120 mph racing through the city streets.)
The aiming could have used a bit of work, but there are games with worse aiming then this one.

Over all Illusion Software did a good job, and this game is worth picking up in the bargain bin.
