In short, this will probably appeal a lot more to fans of the CCG, than to newcomers. However, newcomers should still take a look. It's a solid 2 player duel game with no experience of the card game necessary. Heck, I haven't even kept up with the card game for a few years, so quite a few of the spells are new to me too. At first, the game seems like it might be too easy to master, but thats not the case. Being able to react to what your opponent is throwing at you, while attempting to bring them down poses quite a challenge. As a fan of fighting games also, it's nice to see a new take on the fighting genre.
