If you tend to always lean towards picking the 'mage' class in other games, then this game is a must play. This game is humorous, action packed, and is extremely fun to play online with other people.
The fact that there are 8 (technically 10) elements to choose from and combine make this game very enjoyable. You might find yourself sticking with a few spells you find work for you, then a few levels later you figure out another combo and switch to it. The variety is amazing. There is also some thought needed depending on the group of enemies you are facing. You don't just spam the same spell over and over and over.
If you see a horde of goblins, just use some fire spells to cause a panic. See a giant troll charging towards you? Then combine your beam with your frost element to cause damage and slow it down. I found myself waiting for enemies to cross a stream just so I can shock them with the chain lightning spell after they are wet. The options to kill your enemies are countless.
Honestly for 10 bucks, the price of a decent lunch, you can buy this game and decide for yourself. You will not regret your choice. Support this gaming company so we can start getting more innovative games instead of the generic crap we have been seeing released over the past 2 years.
