Let me start off by saying that the demo really doesn't do this game justice. The full game has lots of varied locations with some nice colourful visuals, plenty of environmental puzzles to solve, character progression, collectible costumes, and great puzzle based boss battles. Unlike most games the final boss battle is actually great and it's one of the visual standouts in the game. The game is also a descent length taking me 15 hours (could probably take 20 if you wanted to get all of the collectible memory shards and treasure chests). The game also never becomes repetitive as you are constantly exploring new environments, and gaining new powers which are used in both the combat and to solve puzzles.

I was a bit skeptical for the first hour or two but this game really gets better the further you get into it. The environments are varied, the puzzles are great fun to solve and provide a sense of accomplishment without being frustrating. There are plenty of costumes for your character Tepeu and powers for the Majin Teotl to collect.

I'll finish up with point form to prevent rambling:

-It's like the genetically modified baby of: Folklore, Enslaved, Ico, Princess Mononoke (Miyazaki film), and Labyrinth (Jim Henson film).

-The Good: Satisfying puzzles and interesting environments, Nice visuals, Creative world and characters, Fun combat, Good use of powers and upgrading of characters, Decent length and pacing.

-The Okay: The story is fine but could have been stronger.

-The Bad: Some horrible, juvenile voice acting, No extras (i.e. No skins, art, movies, or new game +).
