All the potential to be a good game... but errors and glitches make the game nearly unplayable.
From players plain missing balls, to bad calls by the umpires on obvious plays, to bad collision detection with the players, almost every thing that can go wrong during a game does, at least once. Also, if you are using a pitcher that throws similar pitches, such as the curve and slider, the pitching mechanism will often throw the wrong pitch. And batters will swing without prompting from the controller.
My last complaint would be about the living roster. How can 2k claim to have living rosters, but not have any trades since the Tony Pena/ Braden Allen trade, which was weeks ago.( Which by the way- it says White Sox shore up bullpen iwth Pena).
Honestly, does anyone bother to check anything at 2k? How can so many errors be allowed to go uncorrected?
Overall the game has the potential to be good, but is just to broken to be playable.
If possible avoid at alllllll costs.
