This is a better game than people give it credit for!
Many people criticize the game because of it's two-motion pitching and batting, but to be honest with you, I think it adds depth to the game, making for more realistic gameplay. And, for people who didn't know, if you DON'T like the two-motion gameplay, you may turn this off in the menu. Problem solved.
Another reason people criticize the game is because of glitches. Personally, I have not found a single glitch or bug since i began playing. And 2K Sports releases patched regularly if glitches or bugs occur. And don't pass on this game because of occasional glitches, because every game has it's glitches, even MLB: The Show.
I do, however have one problem. The commentary is pretty bad. The announcers often make mistakes, such as when a ball is hit fairly deep into the outfield but NOT on the warning track, the announcer will say "and he drops back to the WARNING track to get this one." But there is an option to turn it off, if need be.
So, this game gives a solid, realistic baseball experience that is fun and easy to adapt to.
