well since this is made by rockstar you can bet that there are some slight GTA mechanics in here. mostly its the locking on part..when you get near a hunter you can lock onto them by holding the right trigger. if you have played GTA like i know most of you have..then you will immediately notice the 3 triangles indicating that you have locked onto the target. if you stalk your target and keep the lock on long enough then it will start to turn colors, green,yellow, and then red. the longer you hold it on determines the color. green,yellow,and red are the 3 levels of your attack. green is level 1, basically green means youll give your target a hit and run minor beat down. level 2 which is yellow is a bit more gruesome..depending on what weapon you have youll probably be beating the crap out of them multiple times with your tool. level 3 which is red is the extreme kill. Cash (the main character) unleashes all hell when your cursor is red..the baseball bat level 3 attack is my favorite =) play it and you will know why. the cool thing about manhunt is that when you unleash these awsome attacks you arent really doing them yourself..as soon as you push X (the action button) it will go to a scene showing cash kill his victim. every time i goes to one of these scenes it looks exactly like your looking at it on a old recordable VHS tape. this really adds to the whole theme and i think people are going to love it. you can beat them up manually if you want to..but i do not recommend this. its extremely difficult to kill a hunter with your bare hands..even with a weapon its hard (unless your using a gun). most of the gameplay revolves around cash trying to be sneaky to get from checkpoint to checkpoint..killing lots of guilty people on the way. the gameplay is fun and fun very easy to get used to, so nothing to worry about here.
Graphics

the graphics are very nice, one thing youll notice is a grainy filter over everything..throught out the whole game there seems to be a sort of grainy filter to it..but its very cool and also adds to the game in a great way. character models are pretty detailed but could be a little better. the game runs smooth through the whole game..i have not had any frame rate problems at all. overall the graphics are great but there is a little more to be desired.
Sound

the sound is fantastic..all the sound effects are great when killing enemies. the crunching sound it makes when you splatter someones skull and brains against a wall is too cool. i recommened playing the game in a quiet area with the lights off..becaue it brings you further into the atmospehere.

just let me tell you this, if you like horror movies, blood, violence, or guts your going to love this game. it really is fantastic..its also under 20 bucks so how could you not take advantage of such a great game. also unlocking character art and different levels will add lots of replay value to this already valuable title.
