One sick and twisted game

User Rating: 8.7 | Manhunt PS2
If there would be one game in the whole world that I would ban if i were forced to it would definately be Manhunt. I'm very much against censorship and banning but Manhunt is so grotesque and disturbing that's hard to defend it not being a potentially dangerous game in the wrong hands. GTA is child's play compared to this. The murders, all shown in mini cutscenes are graphically horrific. It's very disturbing and this game is not for weak hearted. The game plays like a stealth game with the occasional gun battle and it works really well. It actually becomes addictive after a while even though its not a very 'fun' game. In fact its quite a tense and daunting experience that would be a bit of a turn off for some. This makes the replay value very limited even if the games pretty long, but you should play it a couple of times at least. The quality of the game is very good, not a suprise from Rockstar. The graphics are the best Rockstar have done to date, the attention to detail of blood and brains adds to the horror. The sound is also very good. There's hardly any music, just the occasional tense sound every now and again that the game be more scary. The voice over are also brilliant, just as impressive as GTA with some well written but disturbing dialogue. Overall this games not for everyone but those who choose to play it are in for a very different experience than any other game...
