MapleStory is a free, highly addictive MMORPG with a huge and ever-growing community.
First off, this game is free! YAAAY! OK, next I will describe the classes. There are four to choose from, which are Rouges, Magicians, Bowmen, and Warriors. But ya know what? You gotta be lvl 10 before you become any of them!! (Besides a Mage, lvl 8 for them) Each class has a very deep stat/abillity upgrading system. You can learn new moves depending on how many job advancemets you have achived. There are 3 different islands (Maple Island, Victoria Island, and Orbis) that you can venture to. You fight some very goofy enemies like snails, *gasps in horror* pigs, slime bubbles, mushrooms, evil eye's, and ligators. Thats some ways you gain exp. but you can complete quests to earn some usually easy exp. But some of them don't make any sense.... like one quest you unlock when you turn lvl 15 requets you get 100 junior necky skins, while my friend's lvl 24 warrior can't even hurt the BASTARDS!!! Now speaking of gaining exp, you are gonna wanna beat yourself with a baseball bat while leveling up in the double digets.... while I was trying to lvl up my lvl 19 thief to lvl 20, it took 4 &%$#@* hours to do so....... O well. Now, when it comes to graphics, this game is pretty good, (for being 2D and all) but some enviroments look the same. Reguardless, they are shiny and detailed. Now the sound.... This is pretty catchy stuff here.... But some enivroments have the same music. O, and have I told you about nexon items? Yep, you can buy fancy equips to make your cute little anime inspired character look cooler. (With a credit card, of course) but there are shops for new equips to make ur character stronger while using in-game currency called "Mesos". Sometimes you run into the ocasional loser with a lvl 123 warrior calling you a noob, but if you can get past some of the minor flaws, there is defentally alot of fun to be found in the ever-growing and MASSIVE community of MapleStory. WARNING!!! This game is addicting as hell!!! Side affects include lacking a life and sleep!!!!!! I have removed this game from my computor and I doubt it will return!
