Maple Story and why to play.

User Rating: 9.5 | Maple Story PC
Maple story is a great game. It has it's ups and downs. There are 5 different classes to choose from and they all branch out from there. They all have different moves sets and play differently. There are many different towns in this game including 5 basic towns for all of the beginner classes. But before you say only 5 you can hop on a boat and sail to a new continent. Plus and this in itself makes half the game is the online. The buddy list system is great and isn't confusing. Its easy to talk public or to your friends and you can party them to go and fight stronger monsters. If you want to buy or trade weapons you can go to a computer controlled shop or trade them for money with your friends. Or even rare items the choice is yours. The only pitfall to this game is that after playing for a while it gets repetitive very very repetitive. But the way around this is to start a new characters. You can have 3 different characters on one world and there are many worlds to choose from. The worlds you pick are all identical to each other except for the people that play there. But as of this time there is no character world switching. But you can have 3 characters on as many worlds as you want at any time. This opens many possibilities for online friends and variety of characters. But if that isn't enough worlds for you there are constant updates that sometimes bring about the creation of a new world. Updates consist of anything big to just cashshop upgrades. Before you say o no cash shop. Its the only thing about the game that costs money. Plus the items and weapons in it just make you look different so nothing in the cashshop is necessary. On top of all that downloading the game is free and easy. There are no monthly charges either so its just something you can enjoy for the price of free. The unbeatable price XD. So all in all I strongly recommend this game to someone who wants to find a fun free mmo game with tons of possibilities. Then after all this if this isn't enough to look forward to there are almost unlimited quests to play because more come for you as you level up. Items you get from these quests vary but sometimes they are very good. Finally there is the Party questing. This is good for many levels of the game because at certain levels you aren't allowed to participate in them. This is because they are designed for specific levels so they can level up faster. There are many party quests out there for different levels also so if you fall in love with them then you wont find yourself without an option for long. So all and all give this game a try it doesn't take high system requirements either.
