The begining of it all. Marathon is a true master piece of its time.
Marathon is different. It has an invigorating storyline that must be pieced together through many different terminals and clues hidden deep inside the levels. Nothing in the game is straight foreword and everything most be pieced together by you.
The setting is also appropriate. Small corridors with almost no where to hide from an oncoming attack. the noises, the sounds, the action, and the surprises will keep your eyes on the screen and yelping in surprise.
I have to say that this game is better then the Halo series. But you have to play this for you to decide. once avaiable for the Macintosh, it is now available on the web, and will take up little space on the computer.
A deep plot, memorable characters, and great action, this game is worth a shot. Even through the evolution of gaming, the game will stay a masterpiece.
