The Writing is on the Wall, Getting Down with Getting Up.
The game starts off a little slow but it soon catches up and picks up in tempo.
I wish the beginning had more character intro but I guess the developers just wanted to start you off right away to get you into the roll of things. There is a lot to learn and you keep learning new things along the way through most of the game.
I didn't think the game would be all that when I first read about it and watched the videos on it, but its everything I was hoping for.
For such a long drought in games period this title gets you back into wanting to pick up the controller again.
You get to beat up dudes, paint anywhere you want and you other means of getting up as well, not just paint. There are some pretty cool missions and tough bad guys further into the game. There are some puzzling situations but nothing too difficult.
It took me like 13-15 to beat the game 100% with all the unlockables. I think it took longer than most because I had fun just getting up (painting) everywhere. You get some pretty sweet looking Murals to put up and I loved marking up the town.
I'm gonna rate this one a 8.9 out of 10 for the fact that its a fun game and it offers lots of content.
Gamespot was correct about the Soundtrack for the game, its sweet and theres a lot of songs.
If we weren't starting the next generation in graphics (Xbox 360) I would say this game is pretty close to top shelf, for current gen.
Not sure about recommending you buy the game since I don't do that often but you should definitely RENT this one and give it a go for a few hours, you'll have fun I'm sure of it.
