bowsers inside story is a great game but it's not a masterpiece like super star saga.

when i heard that this game was coming out, i was so excited that i actually pre-ordered it, something i have never done before! when i got it i was so addicted to it and beat it in 6 days! and then... i was very disapointed. not only does this game feel too short, but it is EASY! VERY EASY! not only is this the easiest turn based rpg of all time, but this the easiest MARIO game of all time. that's right, it's even easier than NSMB and galaxy, and that is very sad since it is a turn based rpg. this is easily the biggest flaw with this game and rpg masters should just avoid this game unless they are a mario fan like me.

gameplay: the gameplay is like how all mario and luigi's work, jump and hammer. this works very well. there are also special attacks to use, but here's where the flaw comes in, instead of having both items and bros. attacks in one game, they decided to combine them together and make you need special points to use an item. sounds good huh? WRONG! this makes absolutaly no sense why you have infinite items as long as you have special points. the items are very awesome but they do so much damage it requires little to no strategy when using them since you will have a lot of syrup. i loved the bros. attacks in super star saga because mario and luigi use there own super skills to defeat there enemies, but in BIS the special attacks look like you are cheating and takes away the strategy. the same thin with the bowser battles except you can't blame him that he pwns! also, most of the puzzles in the game were very easy too. some positives are that the mega bowser battles are awesome and actually require some strategy. the touch screen controls also work very well.

humour: the humour was very good but it can get downright embarsing sometimes mainly with bowsers dialogue. but the humour is NOTHING compared to super star saga's humour. that game was just hilarious and had a sense of humour no other game has.

value: once you beat the game once, you might play it again but that's it. you will not want to play it a 3rd time. when i beat the game i was very disapointed and i didn't know what to do next. i did replay it again and did most of the sidequests but that's it. my dog even broke my copy but i didn't care since i wasn't going to play it again.

this game gets an 80/100. it is very very fun but lacks any challenge. if you want an easy and fun game, than this game is for you.
