The third Mario and Luigi game makes things interesting by letting you play as Bowser
Gameplay:
In this game you are always on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. There are many parts of this game that you might find funny or evil, as Bowser, Luigi, and Fawful provide most of this game's comic relief. Ever area has lots of ennemies but late in the game fighting enemies gets boring, especially if you are trying to get the bros and bowser to the maximum level. But its still fun none the less.
Graphics:
Since this is a Nintendo DS game you shouldn't expect graphics that good, but for a DS game this is some pretty good graphics. But this is a Nintendo game, and since when have graphics ever mattered in a Nintendo game?
Story:
The game's story is very good since this IS an RPG which should be mainly focused on the story. At the beginning of the game you see that the Mushroom Kingdom has been infected with a disease called the Blorbs, which make toads fat and even more useless then they already are. When Peach calls a meeting, the Mario Bros. appear as they are the main characters in the game, but of course Bowser shows up to ruin everyone's fun. After learning how to battle and then learning how to control Bowser the action begins. Bowser inhales Mario and Luigi and Bowser gets knocked unconcious. You soon learn the the game pretty much repeats itself from here (Mario and Luigi explore a part of Bowser's body, Bowser is able to do something, Bowser plays until he is no longer able to progress, he fights a boss of some sort and then finds something that allows Mario and Luigi to explore) This order keeps going on even after Mario and Luigi get out of Bowser's body as the only reason they leave is because Bowser gets knocked unconcious. The story is funny though because Bowser never even realizes that Mario and Luigi are in his body until after the final boss fight.
The game makes itsef completelly uncanon though by having you fight Bowser as a sort of Pit of 100 trials final boss (except there are only 6 trials and they are all bosses). This makes no sense because you are IN Bowser's body while you are fighting him. The game makes itself even more unrealistic by having Bowser TURN HUGE while fighting you, while inside his body. But most people won't even make it to this Bowser battle and the battle IS fun so it really doesn't matter.
Sound:
Great music in the game, especially the final boss soundtrack. This voice acting is as it usually is Bowser makes grunts, and everyone else speaks gibberish. (Although Bowser does say SHOWTIME when a battle starts and Peach actually says the Mario Bros' names.
Overall this game is awsome and might even be Game of the Year for DS
