Hilarious writing, great gameplay, and fun minigames. How could this game not be a success?

Mario makes a great game yet again! Although the Mario RPG series games are always good, none are as great as this one (Although Paper Mario did come extremely close). It has pretty much every gaming genre except shooting crammed into one outrageous game. RPG/strategy is the main part of the game, but there are also short, old school-type platforming dungeons where you must jump over spiked pits, avoid enemies and, in some cases, find secrets to reach Monty Mole at the end, who will give you rewards such as a special type of stat-boosting pants, badges or in rare cases the elusive golden mushroom. Although most of the strategy is applied outside of battles, by allowing you to choose items to equip Mario/Luigi with, there is a little bit of strategy in battles, such as trying to figure out what type of attack an enemy is weak to. Most of the other gaming genres are found in the greatly fun minigmes. Now for the part of the review that really sucks: the parts of the game that suck. Honestly, the only thing I found in the least bit bad was that no matter what you did, if you reach a certain critical level, nothing is moderately challenging except for the final boss, (Spoiler here) Bowletta. If you like video games at all, you should definitely pick up this game. You'll find almost all the great things that make video games awesome here.
