This is actually one of the few games I had that I only had one copy of which was sealed in a box, it wasn't until this last Monday I came across a used copy at the pawn store. So after 3 cleanings the game finally worked and I have to say, for a game that's over 20 years old this thing has held up pretty good. The objective is pretty simple you are Mario and your job is to clear each level of monsters and how do you do that? well you have a pow block the same kind that was in SMB2 if I remember right that will cause the monsters to turn upside down, you also can hit the block under them to knock them over. The odd thing is that even though this is Mario you can't jump on them. if you do you die, you have 3 life's you die 3 times and it's game over. Why can't you jump on them? It's Mario you should be able to jump on them but yet you can't. I haven't completed the game yet but I've played enough to get the basic grasp of how the game works. For this game being so simple it's almost perfect it gets a 10 out of 10 from me because there isn't anything really wrong. It's also nice to see the game on the Wii Virtual Console.
