Good golf game, but can get boring after a while.

User Rating: 7 | Mario Golf: Advance Tour GBA
Mario Golf: Advance Tour is a decent portable golf game. It has the golf, mini games and the ever-so-awesome Mario. The one thing it's lacking is lasting value. It's fun for a good portion of the single-player campaign, and then after you just want it to be over. All said and done, it's a fun game. Gameplay: Nothing really new. It's got a whole power bar at the bottom of the screen, where you get the marker to get either fast/hard or slow/soft. Hey, it's a golf game...what did you expect? You can walk around, talk to the people, play some games and...yeah...pretty much it. Graphics: Okay. Yes, it's a GBA game so nothing amazing. Actually, I really shouldn't say okay. They're actually pretty good. Characters move well and the swings look good. The courses are sort of all the same, just maybe with different obstacles. Sound: The music is not bad. No voice-overs, annoying beeping noises when text scrolls across. Value: This is not the best part. Multiplayer is average and sort of fun, if you have at least 4 people playing. Single player keeps you occupied for a good time, but the mini-games are boring and are really not worth playing. Overall, if you like Mario games...you'll like this. If you like sports...you'll like this. If you like the Mario sport games...you'll obviously like this.
