OK, this game was not as ruined as the dreaded Mario Power Tennis, but it is still a sad excuse for a Nintendo sporting game. On Mario Gold, the Nintendo 64 version, they made it very difficult for you to get that perfect swing, but on the GameCube version, they practically hand it to you! The stupid automatic swing also had no point, as its sole purpose seemed to be giving you a 90% chance of getting that perfect swing! However, the level designs of the courses were very good, and if you got this game and have never played the Nintendo 64 version of Mario Golf, you might love this game, but the fact that Nintendo is taking a big back step in their sports video games is really riding my nerves!
