Mario and his friends are back to play golf on the cube, and they're doing even better than they once did on the N64.
The music was one of Mario Golf 64's strongest sides and featured some calming and happy tunes that really made you smile. The sequel does much of the same thing and gives you happy music together with some fine sound effects.
The gameplay is very simple and is, of course, the same as in Mario Golf 64. There has been added a couple of modes and a couple of flaws has been fixed. But this game is very much like the one I played on the N64. Camelot hasn't done that many changes to the main game and that's maybe a bit sad. But if you're looked for a new and different Mario Golf you should try out the one on Game Boy Advance, Mario Golf Advance Tour, which is RPG! But that's a different story and review. But I must say that there is one thing in this game that is pretty brilliant and that's the Mario theme courses. It's a shame that there are only two of those, but they work very well and features chain chomps, pipes, mushrooms and even some pikmins!! There is one thing that I really didn't expect this game to be, and that is hard! This game is really hard to finish and the last tournaments are really tough. I recommend this game to everyone that loved Mario Golf 64, and for everyone that loves golf.

Good graphics. Happy and smily music. 2 Mario theme tournaments. Pretty high difficulty level though beginners will do suprisingly good.

Pretty much the same game as the one on Nintendo 64. A bit few unlockable characters.
