If you want only one 3D Golf game, few of your options can surpass Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
The bad: Some of the courses are too easy to play on, a couple of the music can get annoying.
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour is a direct sequel to the Nintendo 64 hit, Mario Golf. It features newcomers like Waluigi, and Diddy Kong. It's clean, amazing fun, and easily one of the best Gamecube Golfing games ever released.
Game-play: 8/10
The game-play is unique from Mario Golf; there are plenty more courses and characters to play with. Donkey Kong's Course has plenty of amazing challenges to hit a hole, as it is airel, and if you don't hit the ball on the course, you'll end up like how you do when your ball lands in the water. Therefore, it's fun trying to hit it on there. The problem is, There aren't really that many challenges on few of the courses, such as the first course playable in the game. You can easily get birdies on nearly all of them, and there really isn't a lot of length in the course. Some courses should be at least 567 feet wide.
Graphics: 8/10
Graphically, I don't even see a serious problem. The level design is magnificent, for instance, the DK course, the course with Chomp Chomp, and a whole lot more.
Sound: 7/10
As with music, it's good, but tends to get kinda annoying, such as the music for when you are preparing to hit a ball you already hit on the green in the whole.
Camera and Control: 10/10
The tilt is incredible. The control is the best on any golf game ever. The game even has a lining to show you where you need to hit the ball (sometimes), and it's easy to hit the ball where you want to.
Value: 9/10
If you want only one 3D golf game, few of your options can surpass Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
Average Score: 8.4/10
Although the game is kinda easy and the music is average, it's still a great game for Mario fans and golf fans alike. It's an amazing game of golf, and if you were dissapointed with the first Mario Golf, you'll be surprised that Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour is the game to cure your hate of the first Mario Golf.
