Back to the nes, Mario was almost only a platform title. Then on the Snes Mario Kart was released... then mario RPG and many other kind of games. Then on the N64 was Mario Party, Mario Tennis, etc.. Mario based games definitely became much polyvalent ones. So now there's a pretty large bunch of titles that are associated to Nintendo which will follow them to their graves, on every single consoles to come! Mario Golf is one of them! And not many of you know that it's one of the oldest one! That's right! Does NES Open reminds you something? This was a NES golf game with Mario and Luigi. Mario Golf is a kind of vulgarized version of a golf game. It doesn't brings much in its kind cause Hot Shots Golf really started the genre back on the PSX. But Nintendo saw that there were a market for this kind and made one of their own! Overall Mario Golf is a wonderful game, Great graphics, Fun sounds, Fun Courses and all. This is no doubt a good title to any gamers gamecube collection! Even more now that it's a classic at 29,95$ CA Just like Mario Kart, I think this game is one of those who won't keep you hooked to your Cube for days and days over months but it is one that'll always keeps you coming some times for a little fun session. That's the kind of game that you need to buy and just can't sell
