Gameplay: The gameplay in Mario Hoops is unlike any other game before it. All the actions, such as shooting, passing, jumping, and stealing are done with simple swipes of the stylus. Occasionally you will shoot when you want to pass and vice versa, but this rarely happens and you have to be pretty uncoordinated to be bad at controlling this game

Graphics: The best on the DS in my opinion. They're really bright and colorful and really add to the overall quality of the game.

Sound: The sound as a whole is great, save for the music that plays during the menus.

Value: Varying difficulty levels, several awesome (read: Final Fantasy) unlockable characters, and loads of unlockable balls give you reason to keep coming back for more.

I would definitely reccomend this game to any Mario fan, or anybody who's looking for a basketball game that doesn't take itself too seriously. People who prefer realistic sports games should probably pass on this one due to it's over the top action and wacky gameplay.
