vastly underrated, excellent satisfying, fun game

I was surprised when I saw the gamespot 64%. I have played Super Mario Kart on N64, and the wii, and it is excellent. Personally it is my 2nd favorite N64 racing game to F-Zero X. This game involves Mario, Luigi and crew riding around on their karts racing or battling. You use green/red shells, stars, and many more power ups to destroy your foes and knock them out of first. This game has awesome sound effects, but the music is a bit lacking, and the replay value by yourself is not amazingly high. But just like so many N64 games, it is a great party game. So sit back, relax, choose your favorite character, and get racing!
