Any Mario game has a lot riding on it when released as evreryone is anxious to see how it will compare with the old classics. This was the same with MK:DD. Everybody knows how great the previous Mario kart games were so this had a lot to live up to. And it does; very well. As soon as you start your first race you notice the similarites to the old games (but this isnt a bad thing), the cool vivid graphics, the flawless soung and amazing gameplay as your hurtling round the many innovative and fun tracks while firing the many cool weapons and altering your drivers with the new gimmick of having two racers. Although its a nice idea it doesnt add much apart from having a choice two special weapons.
And although many things havealready been used up on previous MK games this game shows they still work. So if you want a game which is fun to play, especially with some mates then this is the game for you.
