This game was my childhood, I would get home from school and play it everyday. In fact I still do.This game is the best Mario Kart game of the trilogy, The original Mario Kart was amazing, but this edges it out. The stages in the maps were bright and colorful excluding a few. The detail put into this game is outstanding, especially for 2003. The controls are simple and not confusing at all. The items you receive are clever and very helpful. The bonus features in this game include a battle arena, which is very entertaining. It has maps that were not used in the "story mode". This game can be frustrating at times, but you'll get over it. Oh I forgot the characters. The characters include a wide variety of characters, including baby versions of some characters.In conclusion this game is indeed the best of all Mario Kart games, and is perfect for all ages.
