Double Dash is pretty much like every other Mario Kart before it but it is still a fun worthwhile game that all GameCube owners should have in their library. The two person per kart mechanic adds some layer of strategy such as special items and kart characteristics. There are also a surprising ammount of unlockables in the game such as many more characters, karts, and multiplayer levels. The multiplayer again is the main draw as you will quickly have mastered the game to the point where the CPU is no longer a challenge. The new tracks are fun although many are just variations on the same old ones form past games. Still, Mario Kart: Double Dash is worth the purchase and will keep you entertained for quite some time.
