This is one of the best Mario Kart games for the Gamecube(not just cuz its the only one but still=)) I've played Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Kart, and Mario Kart DS, and i still kinda think this one is the best of them all (for now). This is the game that bridged the classic Mario Kart games with a second person behind you, throwing stuff at your enemies while you focus on the road, etc. Single-player game play here is addicting, bringing more and more tension as you advance up the difficulty ladder. With a good number of unlockables in this wondrous Kart Racer, you’ll find yourself coming back to this game quite often to see what you can find this time. I have even found myself coming back to this game time and again, just to see if I could unlock something else or beat a certain difficulty or Racing Cup. And this is just the tip of this games iceberg! Multi-player game play is outright stupendous. With three modes to play on, endless possibilities are created. The first mode is “Battle”. In this mode players may battle against each other on 4 different maps, on three different battle types. The Second mode is “Versus”. In this mode players can race against one another on any cup they choose. And the third mode is “Grand Prix”. In this mode two players race together to beat the game, sort of like a co-op kind of game play situation. With a wide variety of characters and karts to choose from, the combinations are endless.
