The second game in the Mario Kart series brings every thing a player could want to the table. The main selling point of this game is that you can switch between two different characters which is a very fun and seamless transition which works perfectly. The switching idea is the main factor that brings this game to super star status. The level design is outstanding with very creative levels and new and amazing power ups to use on them. Of course after betting the game for the first time there are tons of different difficulties to choose from to make that game that much more challenging and fun but because this is aimed more towards a younger audience don't expect any thing "Devil may cry 3" hard. There are tons of different characters and karts to unlock which will bring even more value to the game. Although Nintendo dropped the ball on the online thing this would have been perfect for online play. But if you want to play online there may be some people online but I would check that Japanese server if I was you. This game should be in any Gamecube owners collection because it is simply one of the best GameCube games to date!
