Mario Party 2 is a really fun game.It may not have as much as the new ones but its much better.

Mario Party 2 has the same set up as the other games in the series.Theres Party Mode and minigame mode.

Party mode is like board game. There are 5 starting stages and one secret stage. Each stage has a theme and a costume to wear. The goal is to get as many stars as you can. Along the way you get items yes real items not orbs ,or capsules ,or candy , but items that all had an effect on you like extra movement or opening special doors. After everyone takes a turn you play a fun minigame.

Minigame mode is good too. Theres freeplay where you just play games. Battle mode where you play games in competition against people. And Coaster mode where you had to beat specific minigame in order with a limited amount of lives.

Overall Mario Party 2 is a very good game. If you like the other ones you'll like it even more.
