May seem like another Mario Party 1, but it's not...

This game I haven't seen as much as the other games in the series because I haven't played it as much. This game was in my collection years ago, but I lent it to my cousin. I haven't seen that copy of the game in years. So, I recently got another copy of the game and I realized something: Damn, I've been missing out. In some ways, it may seem like a near copy of Mario Party 1, but MP2 really isn't. There is a lot more replay value for this game than the original one. I'll explain this later.

Characters: Same as MP1, no additions

Stages: 5 new stages, each with its own theme, like a pirate-themed stage and a space-themed stage.

Minigames: 43 new minigames, with a couple of reused games from the first game. Battle, Duel, and Item minigames are introduced in this game.

At first, you think that reusing the same games from the first game would make this one bad. But, to keep things entertaining, they are remade so they are not carbon copies of the same games you see in MP1. Also, these minigames are a lot less annoying than the previous game. For one thing, I haven't seen any game which requires the player to rotate the analog stick. I forgot to mention that in my MP1 review. That was without a doubt the biggest problem of the original MP. There's no such problem in this game.

There's nothing else I can really complain about this game. The formula still works, doesn't it?
